Poor precious turtle left cruelly ALIVE on display in California. It’s carapace had been SHORN OFF COMPLETELY displaying its innards. The poor baby lifted its head and that is when the video-maker realized it was still alive.

Californian officials did NOTHING to help this turtle because apparently, THEY ARE NOT AN ANIMAL!!!! It did not die until a customer bought a quarter of it, so the final hacking away at its mutilated body killed it. What a horrific, painful and downright callous death to endure.

Disgusting.

Yeah, and vegans are the extremists? Absolutely fucking horrific. I can only hope that those who feel it’s okay to subject another creature to this cruelty suffer an eternal pain 100 times worse.

While I would like to read this book, I want to point out the term “animal rights debate.” There should be no debate. All sentient beings deserve rights.  I’m actually trying to get rid of this book. I bought it at Borders when they were closing and I read a review from a vegan and it’s a no-no. Herzog refers to animals as “it” and called Mexicans “illegal aliens”. Fuck this person. Fuck this book. Read this. I wanted to read this book, but after looking through it at Chapters, I decided against it. The author still eats meat, which clearly is something anyone who gave a fuck about animals just wouldnt do. I can’t stand animal rights authors that still live such a hurtful lifestyle. I also can’t take anything they write seriously, because to me, those type of people are jokes.
